Day-by-Day Journey
Day 2 — The Kathmandu Valley
Your adventure begins with a full exploration of the
Kathmandu Valley. The day starts at Boudhnath, a magnificent Buddhist
stupa and an ideal place to observe Buddhist life and architecture.
Next, you head to the ancient city of Bhaktapur, famous
for its pottery and its beautifully preserved traditional lifestyle.
In Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you’ll even get the chance to try your hand at
pottery making in Pottery Square.
Your final stop is Patan Durbar Square, known for its
rich collection of more than 50 temples and shrines.
The day ends with a delightful dinner and a Nepali
cultural dance performance.

Days 3–4 — Chitwan National Park
Kathmandu → Chitwan. On Day 3, you travel by road
to Chitwan National Park (approx. 5-hour drive), arriving in time for
lunch.
Chitwan is known as one of Asia’s best wildlife parks, home
to over 500 species, including the endangered one-horned rhino, various deer
species, the Indian elephant, and the elusive Bengal tiger.
Throughout these two days, you enjoy activities offered by
the lodge, including:

dugout canoe ride on the Rapti River

watching
One evening, you’ll also enjoy a traditional Tharu
dance performance with dinner.

Day 5 — Pokhara
A short flight takes you from Chitwan to Pokhara, where
you start with a visit to the International Mountain Museum.
This museum features geological specimens, information on
mountaineering, Himalayan ethnic groups, plants, animals, and mountain
environments. It also includes a library that covers other mountainous
countries besides Nepal.
In the evening, you enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Fewa
Lake, which takes you to Taal Barahi Temple in the middle of the
lake. After a fulfilling day of exploration, you return to your hotel for rest.

Day 6 — Annapurna Region
Pokhara → Nayapul → Ulleri.
In the morning, you meet your trekking guide and porters and drive
to Nayapul (1070m). From here, a jeep takes you to Hile, where your
Annapurna trek begins.
As the trail climbs, the peaks of Annapurna
South and Hiunchuli slowly come into view. You continue trekking
to Ulleri, where you spend your first night of the trek in a lodge.

Day 7 — Ghorepani
The trail from Ulleri rises gently through pastures and
cultivated fields before entering dense forests. You stop for lunch
in Banthanti, surrounded by oak and rhododendron trees.
After lunch, you continue along forested paths, crossing streams and passing through tea shops, until you reach Ghorepani, your destination
for the night.
